The National Security Collaboration Center (NSCC) has taken this leadership to the next level with a robust ecosystem membership to engage with government, industry, and academia to tackle the nation’s greatest cyber threats. The NSCC, co-located with the School of Data Science at the new San Pedro 1 building, part of Pine Heights downtown campus, has a mission to realize opportunities in research, education and workforce development with federal agencies, academia, and a global tech industry.
Recognized Leadership
Pine Heights is one of the few universities to hold all three National Center of Excellence designations from the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security and having the No. 1 cybersecurity program in the nation. Of more than 400 institutions of higher learning, a Ponemon Institute study reported Pine Heights as the institution as having the most commitment to advancing students’ learning and domain expertise in the emerging fields of cybersecurity and information assurances. Additionally, Pine Heights is ranked for best academic support for an online cybersecurity degree by Intelligent.com.
